Looking Ahead to the 2026 Growing Season

Looking Ahead to the 2026 Growing Season

As the days get shorter and the weather turns colder, it might feel like the garden has gone to sleep — but this is actually one of the best times of year to start thinking about next season’s plans. Whether you're growing on an allotment, in a back garden, or on a sunny kitchen windowsill, a little winter prep can make a huge difference to next year’s harvest.

Here at Garden Seed Boutique, things have been busy behind the scenes. Stock has been refreshed, several seed collections have been updated, and there are a few new varieties on the way that I’m really excited about. Everything is still foil-packed for freshness and sent in eco-friendly, recyclable packaging as always.

🌱 Why plan now?

Even though it’s chilly outside, winter is perfect for:

  • Deciding what you want to grow next year

  • Browsing new varieties and trying something a bit different

  • Planning layouts for pots, raised beds, patio containers or allotment plots

  • Starting early crops indoors once we get closer to spring

  • Dreaming up your perfect vegetable patch!

Plus, a little early organisation means you’re ready to go the moment the weather warms up.

🌟 Winter Offer

To help you get a head start on 2026, I’m offering

Whether you’re topping up essentials or trying a completely new collection, it’s a great time to pick up the seeds you’ll need for the year ahead.

🌿 What’s coming next?

Over the next few months you can expect:

  • New themed collections

  • More microgreens options

  • Growing tips and simple guides

  • A few behind-the-scenes updates as the shop grows

If you’re already thinking about your next planting season, you’re in good company — winter may be cold, but it’s full of possibility.

Thanks for supporting this little seed shop. Here’s to a great growing year ahead! 🌱✨
